Every year Brittany gets a gift from her friend Brian. Each year we wait anxiously to see what wacky thing he will send her. He sent her a pink bobble head dog made out of metal parts one year. A few years ago he sent her a salt and pepper shaker of the LARGE backside of a bikini-clad woman. I would love to know how he chooses!
This year it was a Yoda Backpack! We decided he fit right in with our family so we gave him a glass of wine and the seat of honor next to the tree.
Ian was soooo not interested in Santa this year!

Sometime during the evening, Santa visits our house.
He visits with each child, asks if they have been good and gives them some candy to help with the wait for his arrival later that night while they are asleep.
